We had a wonderful experience at Papa Marco’s Grill & Kabob. We ordered a mixed chicken and beef plate served over a large, fresh salad, and the portion was very generous. The meat was flavorful and tender, and the salad had a great variety of fresh ingredients, not just the usual lettuce and tomatoes. Everything tasted freshly prepared, and the warm pita complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. They also gave us baklava, which was a very thoughtful and delicious way to finish the meal. Great food, generous portions, and kind people. We would happily come back.

This has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. Every visit feels welcoming because the staff are genuinely kind and always make us feel right at home. That level of hospitality keeps us coming back just as much as the food. The meals are consistently delicious, and we've never had anything less than a great experience. It still feels like one of those hidden gems that's waiting to be discovered. If you appreciate flavorful food, friendly people, and a relaxed atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

By far the most fantastical Mediterranean food in Illinois!!! The falafel are special! Not like any other I’ve ever tasted and I know the secret why but I will not reveal it. You must taste them for yourselves!!! The dolmas are incredible!!!! Again, a recipe, unlike any other! Papa Marco and his wife are amazing hosts 💖 If you’re ever in Waukegan, don’t pass this up!!! I highly recommend Papa Marco’s!

Was looking for a good local gyros. Read reviews so tried it out. They hit it out of the park. Gyros was so juicy and over filled, had to eat enough just to close pita. Fries were also crispy and full of flavor. They served you free baklava for desert. The price was on point. Highly recommended if looking for a great gyros. Will be back to try the other non gyro options.
